On behalf of Digital Guardian I am very pleased to welcome Chris Brook to our team. Chris will be the new face and brain behind Data Insider and we couldn’t be happier to have him. 

Chris comes to Digital Guardian after nearly nine years at Threatpost, where he was one of the founding members of the editorial team. Chris wrote and edited breaking cybersecurity news, interviewed hackers, security researchers and InfoSec experts while overseeing graphic design and maintaining the site’s social media program. He also reported live on the floor for industry staples RSA and Black Hat, and managed Threatpost’s Podcast.

From an editorial standpoint, Chris has been at forefront of cybersecurity news for years, covering the full gamut -- high-profile APT groups, vulnerability disclosures, data leaks, the private exploit market, cryptocurrencies, online privacy, cybercriminal campaigns, particularly nasty/notable variants of malware, critical infrastructure security, and government legislation related to cybersecurity.
