I would like to introduce myself as the new CEO of Verdasys.

I am thrilled to be here, and I’m excited about many of the things we’ll be working on in the near future. Over the past two years I was SVP and General Manager of the Security Management Business Unit at McAfee, which followed McAfee’s purchase of NitroSecurity, where I was CEO. When making my decision to join the Verdasys, four areas stood out most: 1) “It” really is all about the endpoint and securing the data. Agents on the endpoint probably isn't everyone’s favorite thing, but the truth is, there is no better way to protect your critical data and IP. Our job is to make the implementation and management of the agents far easier; 2) The agent here at Verdasys is as good as, and actually better than, others I have seen, and yet we still have not tapped its full potential; 3) The “whatever it takes” attitude the team uses to assist customers like you; and 4) A world class customer base any company would be proud to have.

We have a great team here at Verdasys and I am excited to build upon that team as we continue to develop Digital Guardian and make it the premier solution for protecting your sensitive data at the endpoint. Our plan is to grow the team, give people the resources they need and continue to deliver the highest quality product to you. In fact, we will be growing our work force by nearly 40% this year alone.

Our plans for Digital Guardian include simplifying the product with a state of the art GUI, enhancing our cyber security offering to deal with APTs at the endpoint, executing on our mobile story and adding a big data back end for world class analytics and reporting.

If you have any questions about Verdasys and our plans, please feel free to contact me directly at any time. I can be reached at [email protected].
