DDoS attack Friday hits Twitter, Reddit, Spotify and others

A large-scale DDoS attack hit the East Coast and brought down popular sites like Twitter and Netflix. According to Will Gragido, Director of ATP at Digital Guardian, DDoS attacks have become more problematic over the last several years, due to the rise of botnets.
