Blue Coat Systems' Michael Fey Joins Digital Guardian's Board of Directors

Waltham, Mass. - December 1, 2015 – Digital Guardian, a next generation data protection platform purpose built to stop data theft, today announced that Michael Fey, President and Chief Operating Officer at Blue Coat Systems, has joined its Board of Directors.

Fey’s successful track record of aligning customer requirements with Blue Coat’s diverse product areas including web security, encryption management, cloud offerings and advanced threat solutions is a critical skill set to add on to Digital Guardian’s board. Fey will assist Digital Guardian by providing strategic counsel and leadership as the company continues to expand its market share and operations across new industries and regions, and into the mid-market with their cloud-based managed service.

Prior to joining Blue Coat, Fey was executive vice president, chief technology officer and general manager of corporate products at Intel Security Group where he drove the company's strategic vision and security innovation. Fey also managed business operations and strategy for corporate product business units at McAfee, part of Intel Security.
